»GROUP 4 PROJECT
From 14 – 16.02.2011 the D1 and D2 students participated in the Group 4 Project. This is a compulsory element of the IB curriculum. The Group 4 Project’s principle is to conduct practical investigations concerning a chosen topic in an interdisciplinary fashion.
This year the students investigated caffeine. In the Chemistry section various chemical and physical properties of the substance were studied. In the Biology section, the students checked the influence of caffeine on human blood pressure and heartbeat as well as on the germination of seeds.
